I’m a software developer, and GeoSpoof started as something I wanted for myself: an easy way to control the location and timezone my browser was handing out, without signing up for anything or giving my data to yet another company. It grew into a tool a lot of people now use every day, which still kind of amazes me.
It’s open-source, with no accounts and nothing to sign up for. Your settings just live in your browser. And if you’re ever curious what it’s actually doing, the code is public and the verify page shows you exactly what websites can read about you.
There’s an optional Pro tier for the extra power features, while the everyday spoofing stays free.
